All of you guys make awesome sigs. I was wondering can we use an animated gif as a sig?

Maybe something like this pic Gary posted in a birthday thread, having the handles facing out and toasting.

I know it's crap but just posting cuz others do. Criticisms are most welcome.

    Hope LP hates it. LOL!
It looks good but the wrong size, too tall. Sigs for full size should be 650x150, in that area.

Yes we can as long as it will fit the file size constaint. Animations are a series of images so get large quickly. I don't do animated, but other do.

    Another request

Okay, so first off I really like my new sig by arc. I had another member send me a message saying that the background was not transparent, he uses the sf dark theme. He stated it was because I need to double click it when I open and save it to use as my sig. I made the same mistake when I applied my last sig and it was showing the dimensions in the bottom of it. It doesn't show dimensions so I thought I was good to go.

Then my quest began, I checked using the sf dark theme like him and it did show as white not transparent for the background. I decided to give a go at fixing it.

Then it got fun, I downloaded GIMP to use this tutorial to make it transparent.

Gimp Tutorial - How to make an image background transparent

I followed all the steps, it went just like the link said. I checked in dark theme again, still not transparent.

So now I'm back asking for help again.

Did I just upload it wrong..Wow it shouldn't be that hard. Or did I miss a step somewhere.
    Please help me GFX team
