Dennis, that's Newton's first law.
the 2nd law is, Thus, the net force applied to a body produces a proportional acceleration. In other words, if a body is accelerating, then there is a force on it. Kind of like me and my Wife. If she wants me do do something, she has to make me do it. I end up doing it just so I don't have to listen to her anymore.
From Wikipedia..
First law: If there is no net force on an object, then its velocity is constant. The object is either at rest (if its velocity is equal to zero), or it moves with constant speed in a single direction.[2][3]
Second law: The acceleration a of a body is parallel and directly proportional to the net force F acting on the body, is in the direction of the net force, and is inversely proportional to the mass m of the body, i.e., F = ma.
Third law: When a first body exerts a force F1 on a second body, the second body simultaneously exerts a force F2 = −F1 on the first body. This means that F1 and F2 are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
Is nilank gone from the forums?
Also BlackSparrow will have it done for you in 10 minutes only getting on the pc now.
Here you go BlackSparrow, added a little more also. That sword that you wanted. I sharpened up the image as much as i could
