    EDIT: Hmm, it still seems to turn it into a .jpg, making my transparent background completely useless>_>
    I think at your forum level your max sig size is 600x100, with some more rep or time it will go to 600x150. If you made a sig 1300x300 and applied it the forum resized it to your allowed size, that's why it's .jpg. Resize the big "work" sig and save the correct size fot you then apply it, the transparency will keep and will be a .png.

    Mine comes up as "sigpic272779_8.gif(.png image)".

    Is that right?

    Hi Wenda yes most forum Sigs are posted in PNG (as Britton30 says when posted within the correct size according to the posters forum level) and PNG holds transparency :)

    But I did resize it before uploading..
    Meh, I guess I'll just have to wait until I'm a power user to get the full sig size.
