    How to make Windows 7 Icons look like Mac Icons?


    Does anybody know how to make Windows 7 Icons look like Mac Icons?
    I have a 64-bit computer. Thanks :)

    It depends on with icons, most are in the imageres.dll in both C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64, but some like in the notification area and control panel will have there own .dll.

    You would need to find/make the icons.

    This tutorial will help some Icons - Change Using Resource Hacker

    If you needs some help just ask.

    That looks awesome! How do I install this? Is there a free program to apply these icons to my computer (I know I can use IconPackager..but it's not free)?

    I believe you'd need to do it manually as Bongo pointed out above Not a quick, easy task I'm afraid. Someone else may know of a different method. A Guy

    Icon Phile is the best freeware icon changer but first you have to convert the PNG to ICO with AveIconifier 2.

Hello, when i first got my compute i installed a custom theme changing basically evrything about my computer and its apearence on the desktop. This includes the icons as well. When i tried to revert back to the original windows 7 icons it seems that this theme (which is third party I should mention...
I use an invisible icon for my Recycle bin so my desktop is completely clean, the problem is I've tried multiple icons and all of them show up black upon a restart - upon changing the icons they are invisible again and the process repeats. What do I do?
