Windows 7: winver.exe bitmap images.

Windows 7 Professional x64
winver.exe bitmap images.

I read somewhere that it's possible to change the bitmap image in winver.exe (the one that says Windows 7 Professional) using the registry and without modifying basebrd.dll. Now don't get me wrong, I have no problem with changing basebrd.dll, but a am a little bit curious as to how this could be done in the registry (IF it can be done that is). If anyone has any information about this, please let me know.

Which one - Expiration date SIW or MS Winver
Hi all I have a little point of confusion with SIW and Winver for X-64 build 7077. SIW reports expiry date as 6 June 2010 Winver reports expiration date as Mar 2nd 2010. Who'se telling the truth and who'se the "Big fibber".

I am trying to install Windows 7 to triple boot with XP and Vista. It seems to install ok but then when trying to boot into 7 I get winver.exe not found I am tried writing the cd at the slowest speed possible and have used several different image burning apps. None of that worked.
