simple semi off topic question: how long does it normally take to show an updated avatar?

What's the file size of your avatar that you are trying to upload? As i've mentioned earlier on my other post. It must not exceed 48.8kb. File dimensions should be 100x100 pixels or smaller. :)

to be honest, I figured out the issue, but am too embarrassed to tell you what I was 'actually' doing :P ... profile pic =/= avatar haha

ok so now that I've broken the ice, would one of you fine people be able to help me with this avatar?

I love the jack skellington and would love a good looking avatar, but as you can tell, i'm mildly retarded when it comes to the subject.
