    Appearance and Personalization


    If you right click anywhere on the desktop or a web page there is a drop down menu, 'Back/Forward/Reload'
    mine is a pale pale blue colour, and when I move up/down it the change of colour hardly show's, I would like the colour of the word I want to click on a darker colour,
    I cannot find out if you can change this,
    Can any one help, I am Win7 and Firefox Browser

    If you change your theme to "Windows Classic" then the pale blue will be dark blue.

    How do I do that??? do I do it in Control Panel ?

    OK Found it and done it , thanks a lotXXXX

    It's changed all my 'settings' how do I get into where it lets you change the 'message box, size of the X, font types,

    Right click on an empty spot on the desktop
    Select Personalize
    In the lower left of that next window, select Display.

    Yes got that, but what I mean is a little window which lets you select from a drop-down menu, things like, message box/fonts/ size of mouse pointer and the X,- at top right of screen

    You may have to change it to windows basic, then choose window color to get that box.

    OK thanks, but that is defeating the object I now have my dark colour in dropdown menu, but lost all my other fav: settings


    Understand, but why can't you get that 'box' in Windows Classic??

    Sorry, I don't understand.

    Can you please post a screenshot?
    Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums

    You might have to go back to you original theme to get a screenshot of the things that seem to be missing for you in the classic theme.
