No gadgets in "Add Gadgets" menu

    I believe it wasn't a patch, but a security advisory, then you had to manually do the fix it. I'm in my truck, waiting for a customer, on this tiny iPad, so I can't do a proper search. Look for KB2719662. That is the advisory with the fix it. But it disables the sidebar completely, I believe you do have sidebar.exe running? A Guy

    Unfortunantely, I don't have sidebar.exe running. I tried the fix it, but still no effort. I looked for KB2719662 in Windows Update, but I couldn't find it. I installed another Anti-Virus to see if it was the problem, it turned out it wasn't. Repair Install and System Recovery didn't make a difference.

    It used to work fine, but all of a sudden, they disappeared.

    Thank for your answers. I know of kb2719662 I just thought there might be another one to look into.
