Icons disappearing

Hi to all. I'm new here I need some help. My question is why my games icon on the desktop keep disappearing
and I have to install them over and over?

It could be anything from a malware problem to an icon cache problem to damaged or corrupt system files. Or something else entirely.

If this problem just recently began, you might be able to use a restore point to roll back your computer to a date/time before the problem started.

System Restore

Try running a full scan with your installed and updated anti-virus suite. Since no anti-malware product is 100% effective 100% of the time (if there was such a thing we'd all be using it) you could also run a free scan using Malwarebytes.

You could also try rebuilding the icon cache.

To check for damaged or corrupt system file try running a system file checker scan from an elevated command prompt (option two.) If problems are found, run the scan 3 times and reboot the computer immediately after each scan.
