Folder Customisation to include images ?

I am aware there is a tool here for modifying the windows 7 folders to contain a background image, what i am wondering is it there is something that we can do to utilise the lower properties area at the bottom, in relation to adding a banner image, such as this...

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

Technically it can be done but it could not be done to individual folders the preview panes are all the same that area uses only one image #903 in the .msstyles(default aero a third-party custom theme that image number would change) is only a 1x6 pixels image, in one custom theme I have that image is 241x71 pixels, but then again Windows stretches that image across the bottom.

You would have to use Ave's Windows7 Style Builder so you could adjust sizing margins so that part of the image would not stretch.

ah, a lot of work and probably not worth it in the long run, especially if there is an issue with only one image being available.

Might just look to use one of these, and have the image located at the bottom, or drop it into a larger plain image file and position it where i want.... some experimentation is likely to be needed ! it would just have been nice not to have the files running over the image

Reading through those tools, there is no real happy medium, i use tiles in some folders and details or list in the rest, and both these tools do something to the tiles option, as well as goofing with the details layout/design. I found that one out by mistake by running the portable app, and then having to use it's uninstall feature (twice) to get back to where i was, and now i have to reset all my folder settings as they defaulted to details grrrrrr

I have never use those tools or ever tried to put a picture in the Explorer background, I have seen it done but it's beyond me.
