Congratulations Stephanie & boohbah upon earning a well deserved promotion to the GFX team.

    Seconded.

Well done, and well deserved, both of you.

Yes, very nice. Wish I could do text like that.

I did have a swag of fonts to play around with, but now cannot find them, or the link to them. I might have to go searching once my internet speed comes back up (currently 64kb/s. Grrr!!).

No, my biggest problem is that I simply cannot draw. For love nor money. Never could. The only subject I ever flunked in my life was Art. So anything that needs to rely on my artistic abilities isn't too likely to happen. What does help me a lot is my background in newspapers and printing, so I know how to compose a page (but not necessarily create the contents of the page), if you can follow what I'm trying to say.

But, I'll get there. Practice won't make perfect in this instance, but it is knocking a lot of the rough edges off... :)

    Wenda.
You'll learn how to do it in time Wenda. It might seem hard and impossible now, but after watching a few tuts and giving it a few tries it might end up being very easy
And I can relate very much, I have zero drawing skills myself too-.- But even without the skill to draw something good, you can still create amazing GFX!

I'm quite bad with color matching (as you can see>_>), but I do like the outcome
