    thats excellent jerry, it reminds me of colourised aluminium

    gonna have to pick your brain how you get that effect, is it a layer style?

    I'd say a bevel and emboss on the text, and a new layer above it with the colors, and then set to either screen, overlay or multiply.
    But I wouldn't possibly know for sure:)

    Well after the text I use a Filter Forge(not free) with this filter mw_Varnish*(Texture) then a chrome layer(using eyecandy 7 plugin not free) on top setting the mode to Luminosity with some bevel and stroke also then I duplicate the layers and use some Gaussian blur on the bottom layer.

    Playing around with 3D effects in text. My first attempt...

    Not great, but we all have to start somewhere.

    The experiment continues. :)
