thanks for the tip steph , will have a try later.
thanks nommy.
well i tried tons of ways , using the pentool with a path then filled the stroke etc but i find it impossible at the moment to get the bloody thing to do as i want,
trial and error i suppose, best i got was actually painting a line freehand , some how the brush had the layer style already so as i painted the line i could see the bevel.
anyway i decided that the actual size of the sig doesnt show the flaws of the preview size.

Hello Joan,
It's impossible to put a working link in a .png or .gif file (you could upload your sig at your site and use[url=http://www.example.com][img]insert image here[/img][/url] tags, but that way the sig itself will be the link).
In the signature menu in your User CP, you can upload the sig between[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] tags, and put a link below it as shown in the picture below;
Hope this helps:)
Nommy
glad you like it joan,
as nommy says you need to add the link in the sig mananger when you upload it.
i realised when i made your sig that the original gif you have i used the same size on the large preview size, i should have doubled the size so it kept it the original size when i save a smaller image for the sig.( probably too technical .
basically
if you want the gif larger as it is originally then i will have a play around and alter the sig for you.
