    Problem with the Taskbar


    hey, i am having trouble with the Taskbar in Windows 7.


    i want to be able to make explorer windows and other programs be over the task bar, not under it without turning on Auto-hide Task bar, where can i fix this problem ?

    I thought there used to be a "Keep taskbar on top of other windows" option (or something to that effect) but I don't see it.

    I'm not sure that you can in Windows 7. Although I can't imagine why you'd want to, it could get annoying.

    You can always move the taskbar to the side or top...

    If I read this right, the programs are under the taskbar?

    How did this happen?

    ^I interpreted it as referring to the Y coordinate, not the Z.

    Well actually a mixture of both. It seemed like he wanted his programs to be on a higher Z plane than the task bar instead of on the same Z plane and therefore stuck vertically underneath it. If that makes any sense.
