    custom start menu themes invisible

when i downloaded some themes that gave the start menu a bg image the start menu becomes invisible

i dont mind it since i have most shortcuts i need in my desktop anyway, but its annoying and i really wanna see the epic start menu
thought if i revert to the old themes its completely fine

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

Post a link to 1 of the themes you are having trouble with.

It looks like you are using Windows Basic theme are you?

Did you do do 1 of these 2 ways of Enabling custom themes for it to work?
Enabling Custom Themes - Windows 7
    Or
Theme - How to Apply Custom Themes

I just tried those 2 themes and they work fine for me. Are you sure you are choosing the right theme in Personalization.

    I have SP1 installed.

Like I said earlier it looks like you are using Windows Basic theme, does the default Aero theme work?

I don't know, you should contact the theme maker and ask.
