I think my problem is the integrated graphics on the i3 doesn't support OpenGL.

Funny after looking again in the cc app 3d trial is no longer listed so it must have been removed after new years
Owe well blender is freeware,
Hard to activate a 3d trial when I've never even used photoshop before,
Adobe ?
Might have to see about cs5 and ditch cc6, crop and even eraser is driving me crazy anyway,
Cheers.

Every time I've had to erase a background I've had to use gimp,
Crop isn't much of an issue it's just a pain to keep saving and reopening or totally having to shut down ps completely to do it,
Very odd behavior but as I search most sellers of cs5 are unknown to me and showing only 1 left....
So the chances and price isn't worth the squeeze to pay 775.00 or 800.00 for cs5 legacy maybe "if" they still have one ?

If you mean to make a background transparent then follow this method.

1. Double click on the layer icon to turn it into a "normal" layer.
2. CTRL+A to select all.
3. Press DEL or Backspace to delete the pixels.
4. CTRL+D to deselect.

Not sure what you problem is with crop. I don't have any difficulty.

Thanks I believe the biggest issue I have is some times it works and some times it doesn't,
I've never seen a lock symbol anywhere next to the layer or on the top it just becomes non responsive unless I shut down the program,
Very weird possibly early bugs but doing the same process after reopening works perfectly,
I was getting my chip set was not completely compatible popup but unchecking graphic acceleration in options got rid of that popup so possibly the issue is connected,
Cheers.

Adobe creative cloud 6,
It's their new rental for photo shop and light room... for 10.00 a month,
It did not come with 3d and only had a trial which seems to have disappeared I guess at the first of the year so I near got to try it/ to busy learning photo shop,
Cheers.
