    paul, if you keep the images at 650 x 150 you wont have any trouble with transparency when uploading for a sig.

    we make them at 1300 x 300 then reduce them by half for the sig upload, its easier to work with the bigger size as you can see all the details .
    the secret is to save the image at 1300 x 300 then open the saved image then resize it .
    this way any effects dont distort.

    I have been playing around with Andrews sig again this morning as the original was very basic, I think it looks a bit better now but I still have a lot to learn (it is good fun though and quite addictive!)
