That still doesn't explain why when I go to into AppData (the one you say I should), Local, I cannot access my Application Data, History, and Temporary Internet Files??? Are these fake as well? I would like to understand what is going on. If you say you "don't want to explain everything again" you must have explained it somewhere? Could you link me please so this can stop being so aggravating for me?
Thank You! I really appreciate it.
Everything hidden folder that denies you access is but a junction that is there for backward compatibility.
Local Settings\Application Data = "C:\Users\Logic\AppData\Local"
Local Settings\History = "C:\Users\Logic\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History"
Local Settings\Internet = "C:\Users\Logic\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files"
stratman.
they are locking them for a reason. Even if you are the super admin. even if you change the permissions. the locked folders are just place holders for app install. the applicaion is replaced by app data, etc. think of it as a pointer. if you change it or move it, you will break something.

Sometimes you just gotta go with Microsoft on some of these changes and accept the fact that things aren't always going to be the way that they used to be. Glad you guys got all this sorted out.
Is there a place where this has been documented in more detail? Say on a Microsoft Site?
