I am trying to change the background image of my start menu. Does anyone know the image value of the different parts of the start menu?

You will need to editing the .msstyles with a resource hacker of some kind.

I would make a new custom theme so you do not corrupt the default aero.msstyles, look at Post #38 Here it will show you how.

You will need to do 1 of these 2 ways of Enabling custom themes for it to work.
