Yes i do believe ie 11 was part of the updates however the weird thing is ie 11 is not showing up in my programs list in control panel under programs and I can't find any way to uninstall it. So how can i restore the version of ie that is on the windows 7 disc and restore the sidebar files for the gadgets as well as I do want to keep them as I think they are handy. I'm not worried about the vulnerabilities in the gadgets as I have antivirus etc so please help here thanks Matt
