Can Not Change Background
I can't change my desktop background and it says i need to contact my administrator. How is this solved. where can i tell the computer to allow backgrounds to be changed?

Right click on the desktop and choose personalize. That's the where. Is that what you did to receive the contact admin message?
it says that some of the settig on this page have been disabled by the administrator. I just upgraded from Vista to 7. and now i can't control my background. bottomline. it's slightly annoying.
I looked through admin settings and i am the admin so no parental controls are set. I tried toying around with my resolution settings considering i have a 40" LCD as my computer screen. Even selecting new themes ... it just stays black, and i can't right click on any photos on the computer and 'set as desktop background' . nothing works.

See if the "Step Two" options in either METHOD in the tutorial below may be able to enable you to change your desktop background again.
