Windows 7 ultimate x64

Hi, Welcome to Sevenforums.

I am not sure about this but, there is no way for Windows to be able to pull the cover out of an ePub and display as a thumbnail. You would have to make changes in registry to do that.

These are changes required in registry. (this is for 32 bit Windows). Only do this if you are comfortable

i can tell you that mystic thumbs will enable you to see epub thumbnails and you can see the preview also.
though it wont show the metadata in the details.
mystic thumbs has a thirty day free trial if you want to have a play.
though it can change other thumbnails too. you need to have a play in the settings window to get it the way you want.

Preview Pane Issue - Can't rename file
I recently found I could not rename an MS Word file selected in Windows Explorer while the Preview Pane was "on". Apparently, Windows opens a Winword process to display the file and Windows considers the file "open". With Preview Pane "off", the Winword process quits and the file can then be...
