Is it possible to change shuffle sequence in Desktop slideshow?

I have my desktop slideshow pointed to a folder of roughly 500 odd images & it's set on a 15 sec shuffle sequence. However, what I'm finding rather regularly is that quite often it will repeat an image shown maybe 5 or 6 previously, and sometimes do that twice within 5 mins, as I'm often sitting listening to music & just watching the changes. Does clicking on Next background disrupt the sequence as it seems to happen more often if I decide to use that option more than once?

Tiny TINY issue I know, but just curious as to whether perhaps there's a Reg key I can tweak to push it to select every 10th image or something.

Finally, I presume there's no such key or option as Show LAST desktop background?

    The shuffle is completely random.

I appreciate that, but is there not some algorithm or equation in the reg to determine how random perhaps? Any parameter that could be changed?

    Hi TikkiRo

You can also create a slideshow by selecting a theme that has more than one picture (Wallpaper) and the slideshow will only show what's in that folder :)
