Thank you Keith/ Gary/ dbl Yo,
I'm still struggling with reflections but the tilted one didn't turn out terrible,
    Cheers.
Reflections can be really hard to master. Remember there is a big difference between "reflections and drop shadows" although the 2 combined can work together to create some nice effects sometimes.
The key is perspective (knowing where the light comes from and in which direction the shadow/reflection will fall) ... below are some examples.

You can experiment with a desktop lamp and a piece of paper (turn off the main room light) and move the paper around to see which direction and how much the shadow falls. Do the same with something shiny like a mobile phone etc. (This will create a reflection onto your desk) ... Then do the same thing but move the lamp infront / behind / above / below etc.

Hard to read, but I like that it's "outside the box"

The important thing to remember is that the placement of shadows depends on the position of the light. Reflections are only affected by the position of the observer.

Mike, May I suggest you try some bolder fonts? You seem stuck on real thin ones. I think your new jumbled text sig could benefit from something bold.

i agree with gary , its good to try lots of different styles and fonts as it will give you more scope .
also play around with gradients as they can change a sig completely ,

Thanks Keith allot of people are having issues with cs6's default position/ distance of the Infinite light it's just another quirk I suppose so I'm looking at different light options ?

Thanks Gary I use the fonts I find interesting not too many bold fonts are very interesting looking although they will work better and are advised to use them in the tutorials,
It would be very interesting if we all used the same bold font

Thanks Julian I'm taking baby steps but Gradients is on my list because they do indeed look pretty cool when used properly,
Only 2 months with ps I suppose I shouldn't get to dependent on it because once they jack the price up I'll be back with Gimp,
Load knows c4d isn't going to happen at 3500.00
    Cheers.

    P.S.
It doesn't look bad on a dark theme ?

Messing around and came up with a couple more for brother dbl-Yo,
