Different Desktops from the Original Win7

Hey there, Basically, i want my desktop to be similar to the ones i have attached(Yes they are other members) but i have a few questions first.

    1. How do i go about doing this?
    2. Does it use more system resources eg. Ram, Cpu etc than the standard win7 theme?
    3.Is it a complicated process?
4.Could i cause problems if i do it even slightly wrong?

I'm sure il have more questions at some point, but i dont wanna flood you guys:P! Cheers

I suppose you are talking about desktop background pictures. They take no extra resources once you have them on your system.

It is extremely simple to set up

For 1 single picture, right click on the picture and 'Set as Desktop'

For a whole folder full of pictures, right click on the desktop and click on Personalize. On the bottom left it says 'Desktop Background. Click on that link. On the top of the page where it says 'Picture Location', browse to your folder with the pictures and say OK. Then go to the bottom of that page and set the time interval, Picture Position and whether you want them to be shuffled. Then click 'Save Changes' on the bottom right (Important). Close the page and you are done.

Those look like some docks to me - like this one:

It looks a bit funny because normally it is vertical on the left side of the screen.

Steph is using About RocketDock - RocketDock.com with custom icons. I use it too with icons I made, it's very customizable.

WinCustomize: Your home for Windows 7 themes, Vista themes, and XP themes, skins, wallpapers, dreamscenes, icons and everything you need to customize your pc. What about something like this? The themes they offer, they have files to download but im not sure how to apply the themes etc?

Hmm, my plain old rocket dock looks a bit barren compared to the fancy stuff you have. But it does the job since years. It's hidden anyhow.
