Yeah sorry mate. RM was short for Rainmeter (as I got bored of typing it) and DRM is Digital Rights Management. Steam, Origin and Uplay are all commonly called DRMs.

Oh, OK. Those sites use DRM to prevent copying stuff. It also keeps one from making perfectly legal backup of some things.

Yeah the backup thing is a bit of a pain I suppose, but I'm not that bothered by it so long as I've got access to my account I can re download anything I've lost. I appreciate it more for making life hard for the robbing pirates.
