i have a duel monitor set up and only when i set the desktop background to black then it will turn off right a way what i want to know is what is turning my monitor off and how to make it do it with a different background

not exatly sure if this is there full name but one is a 32w_LCD_TV and the other on is the one that turns of after a few second which is a lg elctronics 3D monitor
