    add entries to the Taskbar context menu?

    Hi, do you know how to add entries to the Taskbar context menu?

    I have a desktop context menu to restart Explorer, but it makes sense to have that functionality on the taskbar context.

    Thanks!

    Jonny mate don't quite get the gist of what you mean so show us a shot of the Explorer desktop context menu. If am right and I think you mean right click the taskbar and that window comes up then I don't know how it can be done but seeing the Explorer one might give us an inkling.

    When you right-click the taskbar, you have some options

    This info is defined in explorer.exe.mui (in Windows 7, in en-us) under string table 205 > 1033

    205 MENU
    LANGUAGE LANG_ENGLISH, SUBLANG_ENGLISH_US
    {
    POPUP ""
    {
    MENUITEM "&Adjust date/time", 408
    MENUITEM "&Customize notification icons", 421
    MENUITEM SEPARATOR
    MENUITEM "Casca&de windows", 403
    MENUITEM "Show windows s&tacked", 405
    MENUITEM "Show windows s&ide by side", 404
    MENUITEM "&Show the desktop", 407
    MENUITEM "&Undo", 416
    MENUITEM SEPARATOR
    MENUITEM "Start Tas&k Manager", 420
    MENUITEM SEPARATOR
    MENUITEM "&Lock the taskbar", 424
    MENUITEM "P&roperties", 413
    }
    }

    I'd like to add an entry, "R&estart Explorer", and point it to my batch (kill and restart explorer.exe).

    So, the question is: what are the numbers (and can new ones be created)?!

    thanks
