How do I change folder icon for folders containing files

I am curious as to how I would change the folder icon for folders containing files (and other folders as well). I have changed the default folder icon for plain folders through my registry, but I cannot seem to find the location for folders such as those below

My main concern is being able to change the folder icon for the first picture so that the icon for the folder itself will be different, but it will still show real-time images of the files contained within it. How, if it can, would this be accomplished through the registry?

Hello Ar001, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you like, you could use this method below to change the default folder icons.

    Hope this helps, :)
