My desktop gadgets disappeared on startup a few weeks ago, I was able to get them back by turning off the gadgets 'Windows features' and then back on again.
But every few days they disappear and I have to go through the 'Windows features' process again.
Any ideas?

To be honest though, this sounds a bit risky!
It's perfectly safe. It will reset any customizations you've made to themes, if any. Easily restored. A Guy
