Change folder icon
I wanna change icon a specific folder So that, by shifting the icon does not change.
In other words, Icon is always fixed

Right click the folder, Properties/customize/Change icon/browse to the folder where your icon is. Then click Apply/OK that should do it.
This method only works in one system and
If the path or location ico files is changed icons are not shown.
Don't change the location/path, they have to stay in the location from where you browse too. It's the only way to do it.
There was a text file in Windows xp that Placed in the folder In addition to ico file.
but I've forgotten it
IT might have been some .ini file. w7 is 2 generations past the eXPired system and works much differently.
You can do it with a desktop.ini file, but I don't think it will keep the icon if you move the location. It must remain in the folder with the .ini file.

attrib -s -h
2.place ico file in the folder
