    desktop background help

How come when i "set as desktop background" on my pictures that are 1400x900 which is the same as my resolution, they are not full screen on my desktop? Even if they weren't the right size i always that it stretched it to the correct fit? This has happened just recently, in fact I'm using the same picture i have always had but one day recently i logged on and it just wasn't full screen anymore....strange i know

(btw there's about an inch cut off on each side)

Did you select stretch or centre when you applied the picture?

Is your graphics card up to date software wise?

    Desktop Background - Change

Right Click on your desktop, click personalization.

Double click your backround image at the bottom left of the window (beside Window Colour - Sounds etc)

Change the option to stretch on the bottom left of the new window (beside "change picture every")
