Ok here goes, this would be a moving sig.

1, Count down going from 5-4-3-2-1 in like little square box's.

2, An atomic blast when it hits # 1 I will upload a couple of pictures.

3, the blast would be the colors of windows.

4, Then it would trickle down on humanity the earth.



5, In the mushroom cloud the word "americancritic" would appear.

6, I will try and do a little pencil sketch, scan it, and then upload it.

Yikes not sure at all about the I guess rainbow but a more helpful image would be an image of the earth if that's what you want on it ;)
Also the count down I doubt spreading them out is going to be okay seems in a single location and simply counting down is more realistic :/

We do have file size restrictions of 250kb for the entire signature and at you user level pixel size as well
A normal size would be 650x150 pixels but I'm not sure what size would apply to you now ?
Information is a good thing possibly someone can put something together for you but I'm still a little lost at the moment :(
