Same when I abbreviate them way down. I had tried this earlier and no matter how I abbreviated or what URL's I ditched it kept erroring which made me think it needed wiping (just like a 7 install failure). So I wiped the code box and rebuilt it and it worked with all my tutes and same google short links. I may try that tomorrow.

Any suggestions how to work in my links better, or just line em up again? Right now they put me over limit so will John make exceptions?
You could try centering your whole sig by wrapping tags around it.
Also, if you're having to much characters, put the links in goo.gl, that'll save some 50 characters per link.

Can't remember what the limit is though ?
Sig size limit is 250KB. It says so in your User CP in the manage signature menu.

There is also a limit on the number of characters in a sig. I can't remember what it is though. I hit the limit on my sig a while ago.

That's the one mate, works like a charm. I'll get onto a Green Day sig for you as well.

Nice Gav...and fast.
Thanks Gary. That was probably the strangest circumstances I've done a sig in, it was 3am and I'd sunk a few beers and a bottle of wine to blow the dust off the working week and was just about to go to bed. I saw the request and thought I'd have a quick go to prove it was way too late and there was too much alcohol in the mix to produce a half decent sig but it turned out pretty good. :P

The only question I have is you save the psd
Thanks Mike. As for the .psd, due to the above extenuating circumstances I didn't, even though I thought I had.

Stefan can you tell how to wrap links in goo.gl exactly. I'll try it when I get home from bicycle ride up mountain to Big Bear.
Seems like you figured out already, but it's as simple as this;

As per the character limit, please see my tutorial here;

Seven Guru and above:
Once a user has achieved the Seven Guru badge (min. 1.000 reputation points + 90 days registered + 100 posts made), the amount of characters he/she can use in their signature will increase to 2.000 characters. This is the largest "unlockable" amount (with exception of admins).
I find it weird that your sig is at the limit since mine looks way longer, so I tried it on myself, and everything worked. Your sig, without using goo.gl, is 711 characters long. With goo.gl it is only 388 characters, so it should work either way.
Maybe this is something John could look at?

I don't know if you are aware but the HTML tags also count to the character limit.
