Hi shinyjanjan, i'm assuming you're referring to the notification area to the bottom right of your screen?

Yes it is possible to stop icons appearing in there, you need to find out what it is called and disable it on start up, to do this, press the windows key and R together and type "msconfig" without the quotation marks and press enter, go to startup tab and find the program you want to stop then uncheck the tick box next to it, click apply and it'll prompt to restart, go ahead and your icon wont be there anymore.

Right Click on the notification area in the lower right hand corner. Then click on customize notification icons. From there a pop up should appear where you can hide any or all of your Icons and still have them running.

Have a look here and see if it is what you are wanting. I have not used any of the programs mentioned so I cannot say that they will work or that they wont break your computer. https://www.raymond.cc/blog/stealth-...ar-or-traybar/

I have tried 3 apps from there but it does not happen what i desire. I would like running applications on Notification Area stay hidden. The reason what i want this is because im using this software Airytec - Lightweight software. The home of Switch Off utility.. This software does is it will shutdown my computer when no user activity on a set period of time and i dont want user to simply EXIT or CLOSE this on Notification Area.

I may be wrong but I think what you want to do cannot be done unless it is an option within the program itself. You can completely disable the system tray if that is of any use for you.

No, i dont want that to happen. Maybe i will let this for now until i found third party software that can do it. Thanks for all your replies, very much appreciated.
