Is there a way to center pinned items on taskbar in the registry?

I have followed the new folder idea to a T and it really doesnt work in my build (SP1 7608 or something like that).

I want to center them but would prefer not to have one more process booting up with windows... in fact... the whole purpose of this is to be able to stop using object dock so I can get rid of THAT service...

I hear people who talk about registry tweaks for it. I like playing around with the registry, anyways.... any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestion... I actually did see that... my problem, as described by someone else is dragging the folder to the left of the pinned Icons.. it just doesnt work. It just collapses the pinned Icons into a little scrollable box.

That procedure works but every now and then it has to be re done which is quite easy. Oh and you don't drag the folder to the left but the line on the toolbar after you remove the title and text.

    Good news.

You could back up your toolbars and pinned items on the taskbar to be able to restore if needed, but there's not a practical way to set this in the registry.

There is a method where you place this app in your start up folder and it works the same way but I prefer this method as it does not add start up junk. I forget what that app is, sorry.

.... Thats unfortunate. You would think with all the other neat hacks in the registry that this would be one of them..... thats ok. Thanks for the suggestions guys, as well as reguiding me to that link. might not have thought to try that, otherwise.
