    images in aero.msstyles

I'm looking for the images in aero.msstyles that represents the progressbar in the icons pinned to the taskbar, like when you copy something in explorer, a little progressbar is shown inside the icon on the taskbar ?

Can't find the exact images in aero.msstyles...

Can someone fill me in on this ?

    information is greatly appreciated.

    bump

read on deviantart that computer_master (the one that made the blue progressbars posted here) himself states that somehow these taskbar progressbars aren't blue.
So there's got to be a work around for this.

Comon, let's put some heads together and figure it out.

    First of :

    images 650, 651, 656, 659, 660, 664, 665, 670, 1018 and 1021

DON'T hold the image for the taskbar progressbars.

I'm searching aero.msstyles myself right now, to see if i can find the right images, but it isn't easy, cause most of them are scaled down.

Could really use some help in solving this. And it'll prove very handy in future mods, cause for instance, when applying a dark theme (and dark taskbar) with other color progressbars, these taskbar progressbars become nearly invisible.

So anyone who's up for this task is welcome to help me find it :)

resource 1018 works here for me, it should be a small horizontal green bar thats 42x5 in size.

I've turned mine orange just to try it. :)

If you're editing anything else other than the original Aero then it could be absolutly anything I'm afraid!

Yep 1018 and 1021, not sure exactly what 1021 does yet but I am sure it has something to do with it.

No offense mate but "not even" i mean common give them a break here. They answer a TON of different threads per day and they lay down hours and personal time on themes/styles for us to freely download. Give some credit and let it take time my friend =):)

So how would you change the taskbar progress from green to blue?

I used restorator 2007 opened the .msstyles file. Then went to the folder called "Image" Scrolled down to 1018, extracted it so i can modify the .png file to my likes.
In this case Orange. Then right click the 1018 in Restorator and Assign to and i choose the modified 1018.png file i just made. Then save it. Reload the aero.msstyles and blam Orange progress bar.

That's simple. You just extract the msstyles file, go to Photoshop and play with Hue/Saturation Then when you're finished change the theme (if you are using the theme you want to modify) log off and then on, then apply the new images by opening the msstyles with restorator and assigning the images, then hit save. Then apply the theme in the personalization menu, and it should show

Ive found this, but whenever I click on an .msstyles theme it brings up the windows color and appearance dialog instead of applying the theme. I have uxtheme core installed.
