just upgraded from vista and im able to move files from folder to folder i can not manually organize them by dragging them around the folder there in like i could in vista(example files read 5 1 2 3 4 i go to drag 5 after 4 and it wont move) is there anyway to get this function back?
Sorry, for some reason this functionality has been removed from Windows 7and as far as I know no workaround or tweak is available as yet
Hopefully with the amount of people who have complained about it this is something that someone will add back in - maybe even Microsoft :)
It would require a significant amount of complaining to make Microsoft go about adding the complexity of manual sorting back. But I doubt it. Most of the uses for manual sorting are edge cases.
This thus far has been my single biggest complaint with Windows 7. I miss manual sorting.
Well, actually this is my second biggest complaint, Plants vs. Zombies not working is #1, but I'm not sure if I need to blame Microsoft, Steam, or any of the other developers involved with that, lol.
