    Programmable keystrokes


    I have heard of these but don't recall if it is the correct name. Things which are repeatedly typed out like email addresses and the like, I recall them being programmed into key strokes on my friends computer. Anyone know how to help me with this? Thankyou.

    Yes, I think macros is it, I have never heard of autofill. I have read a little on macros but I don't completely understand it, how to use it rather. I get a bit lost at times when it comes to the exact syntax used to correctly use cmd

    Well macros could be coded in VB.

    Commonly typed phrases or information can be easily assigned a hotkey (IE: Press Ctrl + M to type a certain phrase). Autohotkey is pretty easy to learn to do basic tasks, and they have a ton of pre-compiled scripts
