    Problem with the taskbar

    Hi
I have a problem on my new computer. Usually I set up my taskbar like this: The windows icon to the left following my shorcuts and then the used apps.
What I usually do is simply to place shortcuts in the taskbar. What is going on now is that I cannot create new shortcuts. Instead I have to "pin" my shortcuts using a right click on the desired software and choosing "Pin on taskbar" option. These "pins" are moving around the taskbar whenever i open an application.
How can I disable the pinning thing and simply copy the good old shorcut in the taskbar?

Thank you in advance for your help!

I have never added shortcuts to the taskbar myself, how did you do this before? It was Windows 7? You could accomplish this with the Quick launch I believe

    Hi
This is exactly what I needed: The quick launch. It's what I was doing on my other computer. I've just configured my PC this way.
    Thank you for your help.
    Have a nice day!
