Separate quick-launch icons on the taskbar with active windows.

    Hi,

The image below shows my current taskbar when I open a window that has a quick-launch icon (e.g. Opera) as you can see it combines the window and the quick-launch icon together however I would like it to create a separate taskbar item rather than doing this. Would this be possible? Are there any programs that fix this? Sorry if this seems like a vague question but it's quite hard to explain when I can't actually show what I want it to look like.

    Thanks :) .

Sounds like you need to right-click the Taskbar, click Properties then on the Taskbar tab make a change in the Taskbar buttons: section.

That section does allow you to turn the icons on the taskbar into 'labels' however it still combines short-cuts/quick-launch icons on the taskbar with the 'labels'.
