    Windows Start-up Icon problem


    Soo I have this problem and I dont know what to do. I tryed installing some theme packs and the one I tryed was for the Mac look and it wanted me to put files into the windows and the system folder, and now i want to go back to the default which is the windows logo instead the apple logo.

    Advice: Do not alter system files unless you are absolutely sure how to undo changes. Or how to fix pc when you break something.

    Run sfc /scannow from elevated command prompt.

Windows 7 icon/start menu error

62618 Missing all Icons, Start menu will not open, and folders with large amounts of items such as program files lags alot as if its continuasly trying to load the icons.
is it possible to change the start button icon in windows 7 home basic?
i cannot change the explorer icon nest to the start orb.I've downloaded the themes at deviantart and followed each and every steps..and use resHack also.but i still can't change it.Any idea?:sarc:
