Ok. I tried to copy the dll file to the system32 folder and the windows media player folder to the location it should go for wmp12 to work. It says I don't have permission and I can't get around that confirmation box. Everything is set but windows won't allow me to copy the files. How do I get rid of the Vista confirmations overall and also for me to get the dll and folder for the WMP to work? Please assist.

Honestly unless you want to seriously stuff your OS I would leave it well alone, just wait until they have released it for Vista or try the Windows 7 Beta, the way you are doing things will not work unless you change registry settings and setup ownerships for the files you want to replace and you will need a resource hacker to modify the files so Vista will use them and God knows what else, it just wont work.

No matter how hard you try, you're not going to be able to turn Vista into 7. Like Mr. Grim said, you're going to botch it up beyond repair.
