    Currency gadget showing old data


    When ever I see my currency gadget in my desktop it shows data, below that it is mentioned 13 days ago. How can i make it to give me current data ?

    Hi and welcome.

    From what I can see and from all the posts on different forums, it appears that the currency gadget that came with Windows is no longer supported.

    Microsoft has indicated that the will not support gadgets citing security reasons.

    I used it too but then it just started showing old data like yours

Currency gadget is broken

Hello Suddenly the original windows currency converter gadget has stuck in diplaying "Getting data..." I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, deleting the cache folder, recovering the gadget from acronis which I had a clone of my OS didnt help either. I thought maybe it has to do with the msn...

Windows 7 Professional versions: I have one PC that loads the Currency Gadget with "Bad Number!" each time. The other PC loads the last number used "1". How can I get the Bad number! to default to 1? had the same problem with RC version.
