How do you get rid of the user icon?

I know this is supposed to be for the "Start Menu" but I simply don't use mine too often, it's essentially blank. I utilize my taskbar for nearly everything. So here is a snip of that instead for my 2c. (If it looks a little weird, it's because it's left justified).
