Shared Printer with Custom Device Icon

Looking for some help with a custom device icon. I successfully followed Ageeb's Tututorial. found here

Devices and Printers - Change Device Icons with Custom Icons

I am trying to share the printer with this custom icon across the network. I am able to get the printer
to install & function, but the new Icon data is not showing up. Just the standard printer icon. If anyone can
shed some light on this it would be appreciated.

The custom icon only changes locally, as far as I know. You would need to install it in the other computers as well.

When you say install it on the other computers, what do you mean. I have the printer with custom icon installed on my machine & I am sharing it over the network. The other machines do not have an issue using the share, but the icon does not seem to carry with it. The driver package comes from my machine. How would I go about installing just the icon?

Does the printer show in Devices and Printers on the other systems? If so, are you unable to apply the same tutorial?

The printer is listed in the directory so that any machine can install it. I tried to apply the same tutorial, but since it is a shared
printer it does not seem to take. I am assuming that when I ran the MetaData Wizard, that created the custom icon. Not sure where that data is saved. I have read that you need to place the data in the
%PROGRAMDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceMetadataStore file area. I tried it but that did not work either.
