    Change "Highlighted Menu" color

    Hi all,

I searched, but unfortunately don't know which terms fit my dilemma, so the search turned up nothing useful. I am trying to learn how to change the color of highlighted menu options, those which should be highlighted as one scrolls through menu choices. For example, if you click "File" on the menu bar and scroll down through the choices, Windows highlights the option that the mouser (or keyboard) is over at the time. The problem is that at high resolution, the default highlight color is too close to the background color. How can I change this highlighted color?

I've attached an image that shows, or tries to show, what it is I'm speaking of.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jack

Those were interesting, but not what I was after. One of them can change font color, but I want to change the actual background/highlight color. Oddly, your second link did NOTHING to the rest of windows, but it DID change the highlighted color of the menu where you can change the options - but that's the ONLY place it worked! Ha, Windows is messing with me.

    Anyone else?

I went to your link but could find where to find Lists, Menus and Tabs. And what the heck is WSB?

I just found the actual term for what I want to change...at least I think so: It's called the "Hot Tracking Color".

Now, if we can just figure out how to change it...
