    win7/64 has customized itself!

I use a free website for my home page.
It is a picture covered in links.
I designed it years ago to exactly fit the toshiba laptop 17 inch screen.
A few days ago it decided to be too big.
I did update avg anti virus, but I dont download any other software in case it messes things up.
As it is a free website I cannot post a link. The use of the site too much is a problem.
    Thanks for your help.

Perhaps the browser frame or site was updated, and thus the reformatting? Or perhaps your resolution, or theming was changed as the borders could have such effect.

Check Windows Update, this will also tell you if IE was updated.

    1. Goto myComputer
    2. Click --> Uninstall or change a program <-- on folderband, command bar at the top above the drives
    3. On the right, click --> view installed updates <-- has any thing been applied lately look at installed date?

    Check IE Version:

    1. Open the desktop, and then tap or click the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.
    2. Tap or click the Tools button (or tap or click Help in the menu bar), and then tap or click About Internet Explore

If it has been you can roll it back though this may cause security risk. alternatively try another browser.

Provide website you use, google the site and check if they updated lately (can't do anything about it if they have)

Check your resolution, do window boxes look bigger then usual:

    1. Do other windows look to different to you? If so on your keyboard hit (the start key, windows logo) WIN+R and copy this --> rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL desk.cpl <-- and hit enter and you can change it back.

This could have happened if you updated any of your video drivers lately such as the graphics or monitor hardware equally so software management updates of this hardware can cause changes

Does the style of your screen look different, maybe the theme was altered.

    1. Right click desktop goto personalise... what theme are you using?
