My Display setting is stuck on Classic View

    G'day everyone!

I went into my display settings and tried to change it but for whatever reason it's not letting me change it back to that nice, smooth Windows 7 style. That and I can't put new themes in. Whatever he did cancelled my ability to switch theme or window style.

How do I change it to make it go back to normal? I know it's a petty issue, but I would just like to see that nice Windows 7 finish on all of my computer windows.

My Operating system is Windows 7 Home Basic.

Would seriously appreciate help, thank you.

Hi Ibrahim Malkani, Welcome to SevenForums.

    Have you already tried this:
Right Click on Desktop > Personalize > Choose on Aero Theme.

Enable Aero In Windows 7 Home Basic

Windows Home Basic doesn`t support aero, jst as your message tells you.

You have to upgrade to Home Premium.

You may need to re-enable themes. If it's not enabled, then your PC will appear to be stuck in classic view.

Press windows key, type, "services," and press enter.
Now find Themes and right click it.
Switch Start Up Type to Automatic. You may also have to click Start under Server Status.
    Click OK.

All themes should now be enabled.
