    Process Explorer is not built into Windows, you can get it from the MS Sysinternals site.
    I download the zip file, unzip it, and double click procexp.exe to run it.

    There's another application at Sysinternals that's called Process Monitor that allows you to monitor a specific process if you want to see events occurring for that process.

    Here's more info on what you can do with Process Explorer:

    Process Explorer + VirusTotal (to check all processes with 50+ AV's)
